I love to bowl. Been doing it since I was a kid when my brother and I joined our first youth league at Imperial Bowl, then located on Federal Highway in Dania, FL. But for the last 10 years my favorite place to bowl by far has been Manor Lanes Bowling Center in Wilton Manors, Florida. A true old-school alley with only 20 lanes, Manor Lanes is a throw back to the good old days.
Recently I finished the redesign of their website. The new design conveys a nostalgic feeling of an alley that has been around since 1958. But don’t think that Manor Lanes has not seen it’s share of improvements. The alley boasts synthetic lanes & approaches, a great sound system with a jukebox that taps into the Internet for the play list, and glow bowl every Friday and Saturday night rockin’ til the wee hours of the morn. It is also worth mentioning that the food served at their snack bar is absolutely delicious with large portions, something rarely found in bowling alleys. Oh, did I forget to mention that Manor Lanes also has the Sports Den Pub attached with a huge 10-foot TV screen, 17 H/D monitors, pool table and darts?
So check out their website at http://www.manorlanesfl.com and add Manor Lanes Bowling to your list of places to go for fun.
